–Where do you go for breakfast? Why?

I’m not big on breakfast, but when I do go out it is to go yum cha, also known as going for dim sum. I usually go to the Grand Palace Restaurant in Coquitlam, but there are several restaurants in Vancouver that offer great dim sum!

Revolver on Cambie. Great coffee and a good variety!
–Favourite place for a quick bite? Why?

Kintaro Ramen Noodle on Denman. Quick, delicious comfort food. You cannot go wrong with ramen!
–Best spot for outdoor dining? Why?

My wife and I like to fire up the grill and dine on the patio. Nature is literally at our doorstep!
–Favourite bakery? Why?

Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie on Hastings in Burnaby. If I want to indulge in baked goods, this is definitely the place!

–Secret cheap eat in the city?

Sunny Spot Cafe on Main. This place serves great traditional Chinese favourites and it will not break the bank.
–Best dish to try now in Vancouver?

Spot prawn sashimi. BC Spot prawns are in season, so seize the opportunity to try it fresh.
–Best spot for dinner? Upscale and casual?

Upscale: Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar

Casual: Maenam
–Best kept secret in the city?

Basho Cafe on Hastings in Vancouver. Be sure to try one of their delicious set lunches!
–Best place to unwind on your day off?

At home, on my sofa.
