Guest Review:

Girls should always do afternoon tea with friends, but I chose to do it with my dad.
It was fun.
My dad ate most of the scones and other yummy little offerings that I couldn’t finish.

He works hard, so it was good to see him indulge.

I played the perfect skinny, trying everything and slurping my way through five cups of coffee and tea.

The Langham offers an afternoon tea that seems reasonably girly with the pretty plates and tea cups but the tea itself is nothing special … just loose tea leaves.

The desserts are probably the worst in the city when it comes to five star hotel restaurants and needs improvement, especially with the horrible macarons I was served.

The sandwiches were soft but bread slightly stale.

Not sure what I liked about this afternoon tea? Yes.. just the plate settings…

Oh and the souffle… how dismal.. it was so sad to see it presented without any ice-cream or puffiness…. ZZZZZZZ
